Yet, parents are faced with an impossible situation &#8211; how can they help their child feel better if they don\u2019t have access to the correct medication?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the urgent need for children\u2019s acetaminophen and ibuprofen, pharmacy shelves across Canada remain empty. Some Canadian residents have even been forced to cross the border into the States to receive the in-demand medication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the Canadian government has acknowledged the shortage and has turned to foreign governments for assistance, Canadian families need a temporary solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KixCare is here to help. We have put together two charts that show how you can give adult acetaminophen and ibuprofen to your little one as long as you administer them to your child at a safe dosage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These charts show how much adult acetaminophen and ibuprofen your little one can safely consume based on weight and give tips on how to portion the adult medication safely for child consumption.
